DESCRIPTION |
The North America Nebula (NGC 7000) and pelican nebula IC 5070 are diffuse emission nebulae in the constellation Cygnus, close to Deneb (the tail of the swan and its brightest star). The remarkable shape of the emission nebula resembles that of the North American continent, especially along the southeast coast. The Pelican Nebula (also known as IC 5070) is an HII region The nebula resembles a pelican in shape, hence the name. |

Comments |
My first CCD light with STL4020M SBIG used directly with the narrowband filters. Light pollution in Lyon is terrific. Many limitations : No autoguiding, no correct temperatue dark (-25° instead of -30°), no flat for OIII and SII |
